Your First Imposition

Choosing an Imposition Type
QuickUps Imposer offers several imposition types. For your first project, we recommend starting with a simple NUP (pages per sheet) imposition.
NUP (Pages Per Sheet)
NUP places multiple pages of your PDF onto each sheet of paper. This is ideal for handouts, drafts, and documents where you want to save paper. You can choose 2, 4, 8, or 16 pages per sheet.
Booklet
Booklet imposition arranges pages so that when printed doubled-sided, folded, and stapled, they form a booklet. QuickUps handles the complex page ordering automatically.
Cut & Stack
This method arranges pages in multiple columns and rows that are cut apart after printing. It's commonly used for business cards, tickets, and labels.
Step-by-Step: First NUP Job
- Open QuickUps Imposer
- Upload a multi-page PDF (try one with at least 8 pages)
